Prototype Cafe. Prototype Cafe gives their customers the opportunity to reduce rapid prototyping service costs by prepurchasing blocks of hours on a rapid prototyping machine.

Unlike purchasing fractional ownership of a machine, thier plan limits long term liability while locking in all costs. All Labor, Maintenance, Real Estate, Utilities, Administrative, and other costs are already built in and locked in. The only other cost is materials, which are locked at current list price.

Optional Services

Painting - Our painting processes utilize professional painting equipment and AutoAir coatings, Not spray cans. This means you can have any color you want, or choose from any AutoAir color available, plus clearcoats. We can also provide dye coloring, which is a fast, cost effective method if you simply want to have different colored parts and do not want to pay for high end, high quality painting.




Plating - Non-conductive and conductive finishes including Chrome, Copper, Bronze, Pewter, Silver, Nickel, Nickel-Silver



Casting - Eurethane casting directly from RP.


Vacuum Forming - We provide light duty vacuum forming with PETG clear plastics, or black or white ABS. Thicnesses are standard available up to up to .030". We offer fest turn around. A recent job involved starting with 2D hand sketches of 3 parts. We created 3D CAD designs, developed mold designs, built the molds and trim dies on our RP system, pulled 12 of each part on our Therm-U-Form, trimmed the parts, and delivered. Job was awarded on a Friday afternoon and delivered the following Monday. All in 1.3 business days!
